The opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Tel Aviv is another milestone in the important relationship between Azerbaijan and Israel, Ariel Cohen, senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and director of energy, growth and security at the International Tax and Investment Center, told Report.

“The leaderships of the two countries have developed economic, diplomatic, security, and cultural relations basing on warm connections between the Azerbaijani and Jewish people in the decades and centuries before,” he said.

Today, as the world is becoming unstable the two countries should reinforce each other’s security, continue their economic cooperation in communication, energy and other areas, he noted.
