
Anglo Asian Mining (AAM, operator of gold mining deposits in Azerbaijan) produced 16,760 ounces of gold equivalent in 2024, which is 1.9 times less than in 2023, Report informs via the company’s statement.
Gold production in 2024 was 15,073 ounces (30.7% decrease), silver – 28,258 ounces (1.9 times decrease), and copper – 377 tons (5.7 times decrease). From the Gedabek deposit, 14,927 ounces of gold were obtained from doré alloy, which is 26.5% less than the previous year, and 12,007 ounces of silver (25.9% increase).
“In global markets in 2024, 15,251 ounces of gold bullion were sold (3.6% decrease) at an average price of $2,432 per ounce. In 2023, the company sold gold bullion at an average price of $1,851 per ounce,” reads the report.
Last year, AAM produced copper concentrate amounting to 1,857 tons (6.6 times decrease), of which 1,504 tons were sold (7.4 times decrease) for $2.79 million (5.7 times decrease).
