Pakistan is ready to support Azerbaijan in hosting COP29 at a high level, Qasim Mohiuddin, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, told Report.

According to him, COP29 is a landmark event for Azerbaijan: “We are prepared to create every opportunity and provide support to Azerbaijan to ensure the international event is organized at the highest level.”

The ambassador also touched upon the potential visit of Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, to Azerbaijan for COP29. He highlighted the prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation during this visit:
