Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia have grown into strategic partnership, Serbian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dragan Vladislavlevic said at an event dedicated to Serbia’s Statehood Day, Report informs.
“Since their establishment 28 years ago, our bilateral relations have grown into a strategic partnership, within which we actively discuss and implement foreign policy tasks of mutual interest,” he said.
The ambassador noted that in recent years there has been an intensification of political relations between Baku and Belgrade, which is accompanied by strengthening economic ties and increasing trade turnover.
“Overall, I believe that we will celebrate each subsequent year of Serbia’s statehood with joy and even more intensive meaningful cooperation and friendship with Azerbaijan,” the ambassador emphasized.
