When Iran declares the unacceptability of geopolitical changes, this is done, first of all, for Tehran, Speaker of the Parliament Alen Simonyan said at a meeting of the National Assembly, Report informs via news.am.
According to the head of the Armenian parliament, Iran is on the side of Yerevan not because of its great love for Armenia.
“Iran sells weapons and is engaged in their transportation, based on their state interests. The same applies to Russia. Do you think Russia should put its interests aside and say: ‘We love the Armenians very much. They have good cognac. So let’s do something for them?’.. Of course not. All countries, including ours, have their own interests,” Simonyan said.
