“We do not focus solely on the French colonies; we also collaborate with the islands of Bonaire and St. Martin, which were subjected to the colonial policies of the Netherlands.. Simultaneously, now and in future we will continue to cooperate with African states that have gained independence, however, unfortunately, still suffer from neo-colonialism,” Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, said at the press conference on the outcomes of the international conference titled “French and Dutch Colonialism on St. Martin – One Island, One People, One Destiny” held in Baku.
“We have various opportunities to publish reports, research works and articles in numerous directions of our activities. All actual steps will be taken in compliance with the international law,” Abbas Abbasov noted.
