A site for the Russia-Turkey Joint Monitoring Center has been identified and construction has begun, said the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The minister said the center will be located in Aghdam, 8 kilometers from the contact line.

“Initially, 60 Turkish and 60 Russian military will supervise the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Turkish military has already started to depart for Azerbaijan. It will act only as a center,” Cavusoglu said.

Bilateral talks  will be held with Azerbaijan in the future if necessary, minister stressed.
