A total of 54 people have died, and 40 others remain in intensive care due to counterfeit alcohol consumption in Türkiye’s capital Ankara, local TRT Haber said, Reports informs.

Within the framework of the investigation conducted by Ankara Chief Prosecutor’s Office, 28 people have been arrested as suspects, the prosecutor’s office reported.
