The 19th batch of Report Media School, operating at Report Information Agency, has joined the new training program.

Eleven students from the applicants will make news, interviews, reports, and investigative articles at the agency and learn the secrets of the journalism profession. News journalism will be emphasized during the training period.

During the meeting with students, Report Information Agency’s Editor-in-Chief Murad Aliyev stated that one of the training priorities is news creation:

“News creation is the most important aspect of the training process that will take place in the coming months. Each participant should learn to write news properly by the end of the training period. Editors invited from each department of the agency will support you in this work. You can achieve good results by attending classes on time and completing assigned tasks accurately.”

Yelena Guliyeva, Human Resources Department Manager of Global Media Group, who participated in the meeting, called on students to take the training process seriously:

“We create additional internship opportunities for every student who successfully completes Report Media School. Graduates who demonstrate skills have the opportunity to gain experience and be employed both at Report Information Agency and our other media outlets. I wish everyone success.”

Report Media School’s Director Ismayil Rafigoghlu emphasized that there will be some innovations in the curriculum:

“Interesting meetings and additional events are expected to be held. We also plan to conduct some simulation-type games. An essay writing requirement was also included in the selection round to test students’ writing abilities. We have attracted quite well-prepared young people.”

Report Media School has been operating since June 13, 2018. Since its establishment, the school has been dedicated to training professional personnel in the media field in Azerbaijan. The school aims to introduce young journalists to modern trends used by the world press, uncover the potential of individuals interested in the journalism profession, and enhance their practical knowledge and skills. So far, dozens of young people have graduated from Report Media School and now work in various media organizations across the country.
